How do I log in to the RABS app?

When you're booked to work on a production, Background Casting enters you into RABS using your phone number and name.

You are usually entered 12 to 24 hours before your first day of work. So, don't expect to be able to log in before then.

Casting will tell you when you can submit startwork. You will receive a notice to access RABS via an email from Casting and from a text message from RABS. The email and the text message will have a link. Click that link.

On the RABS screen you see upon clicking the link, enter your phone number.

If you are sharing phone numbers with someone, your phone number will have an extra digit added to the end. For example: a minor might be listed as 555-555-5555 and their guardian as 555-555-5555-1. Type all 11 digits to reach that account.

A correct phone number will prompt you to complete your "Payroll Wizard".

When you finish your Payroll Wizard, you will have an active account and an active pin. Your PIN is the last four digits of your SIN.

You will be prompted to create a password.

Log in at the same link every time. Refer to your emails, the background support sheet from casting, and your text messages to located the link.

If you have not received an email from Casting or a text message from RABS prompting you to log in - wait. You are likely not activated in the system yet.
